On May 19th from 8:30 a.m-12:30 p.m, Google Fiber will host WOMMA Talk Influence Austin, Word of Mouth Marketing Association’s networking and educational program showcasing “the brightest WOMM industry thought leaders, as they share their insights on what’s happening now (and next!) in Influencer & Advocacy Marketing.” The event is packed with fantastic information about marketing strategies, business ethics, and chances to network face-to-face with senior-level marketers.
Registration and a light breakfast will kick off the event at 8:30 a.m, with presentations from 9 a.m.-10:45 a.m. There will be chances for networking and refreshments before the featured presentations begin at 11:15 a.m.
On May 24th from 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Capital Factory will host She Says ATX, an interactive public speaking workshop lead by Alyce founder, Lav Chintapalli. The networking event is geared around gaining tips and tricks for presenting your ideas professionally with confidence and style, and all are welcome to attend. An admission fee of $5 is expected, and it includes your ticket, wine, snacks, and a host of possible new professional connections. Come out and improve your public speaking skills in a positive and judgement-free learning environment!
On June 6th from 6 p.m.-8 p.m., the Friends & Allies Brewing Company will be hosting BioBash Spring 2017, a premier informational and networking event that showcases updates on local innovation occurring in the community. Complimentary appetizers and beverages including wine and beer will be offered, and there will be multiple opportunities for making connections and getting involved with those in the science industry. Members are welcome at no additional charge for the event as long as a valid work email associated with a company holding a membership is provided at the time of registration. Non-members are also welcome to attend networking events with a $10 fee online and $20 fee at the door of the event. Interested parties may obtain membership to BioAustin as individuals for $25, which provides free access to all additional BioAustin events including BioBash, monthly lunches, and seminars.
Power of Kinnections Conference
On June 10th from 11 a.m.-5 p.m., the Palmer Events Center will host the 2017 Power of Kinnections Conference and Casino Night Mixer. The conference aims to combine the wisdom of dynamic speakers in the business industry with ambitious entrepreneurs and business professionals who aspire to take their careers to the next level. The event also aims to motivate such professionals to network with other like-minded individuals. The casino after party will feature drinks, appetizers, and entertainment designed to encourage further networking connections.
On July 27th from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., Blackfinn Ameripub will be hosting the 9th annual Summer Shindig for Pierpont Communications. This “networking happy hour” is a chance for communicators in the Austin area to make professional connections and to learn about all of the latest and upcoming trends in the industry. A large selection of beverages and foods will be available for attendees to choose from, and your $35 admission includes two beer or wine tickets, as well as unlimited appetizers. All proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross of Central Texas. Preregistration and payment are required before July 25th to secure your spot at this networking event.
